Who’s in the game?
Get known streamers and pro players in a League of Legends live game, plus its average rank. Build a URL for your own tools or a ready-to-paste Nightbot command.
Build your link
No API key needed. Enter the account to look up; links update as you type.
Paste this into the Message field in Nightbot’s Custom Commands dashboard.Set up Nightbot
- Make sure Nightbot has joined your channel.
- Choose a player above and copy Add command from Twitch chat.
- Paste it into your Twitch chat as the broadcaster or a moderator. If the command already exists, replace
!commands addwith!commands edit. - Viewers can now type
!mitspieler(or your chosen name) to check that player’s game.
Alternatively, open Nightbot → Commands → Custom → Add Command, set your command name, and paste the generated Nightbot response into Message.
Use a publicly reachable HTTPS deployment. Nightbot cannot reach a URL on your localhost or private network. The builder uses the address of this page.
Example chat output
Lee Sin = Agurin; Ahri = T1 Faker | Average Rank MASTER 100LP
Illustrative output, not a live result. If the lookup fails or no game is available, Nightbot receives No game found. Results can be cached for several minutes.
API quick reference
All lookups use GET. Add ?type=json for structured data (the default), or ?type=nightbot for a chat-ready text response.
One summoner account
/by-summoner/{region}/{summonerName}?type=json
Example: /by-summoner/euw/Agurin-EUW?type=json
Use one of the lowercase region codes from the builder. This API expects Name-TAG, so Riot ID Agurin#EUW becomes Agurin-EUW. The builder converts this for you. Spaces become %20.
Current API limitation: summoner names containing a hyphen cannot be looked up correctly because the API splits name and tag at the first hyphen.
Streamer or pro player’s active account
/by-streamer/{name}?streamerOrPro=streamer&type=json
Use the streamer/pro name listed by Deeplol, not a Twitch channel URL. The API looks for their live account; no region is needed.
- Streamer:
/by-streamer/Agurin?streamerOrPro=streamer&type=nightbot - Pro player:
/by-streamer/Faker?streamerOrPro=pro&type=json
Example JSON response
{
"knownPlayers": [
{ "name": "Faker", "combinedName": "T1 Faker", "championName": "Ahri" }
],
"averageRank": { "tier": "MASTER", "rank": "I", "leaguePoints": 100 }
}
Illustrative data. Only recognized streamers and pros appear in knownPlayers, not the full lobby. Failed JSON lookups return an object with an error field; check the response body, not just the HTTP status.
